The Universe Tour is an event produced by Otherworld Theatre Company, a non-for-profit theatre dedicated to the performance of Science Fiction and Fantasy plays. We also curate events throughout Chicago to create a dialogue between patron and artists.

TIME CRASH: Formed on the whim of a Facebook status update by lead vocalist/rhythm guitarist (and avid 'Doctor Who' fan) Ronen Kohn, Time Crash first came together in the summer of 2011 with the goal of being 'America's first trock band.' Along with Dave Kitsberg (lead guitar), Michael Fye (bass), Andy Rice (drums), and Chris Rice (steel guitar), the group has brought together an assortment of rock genres, from power ballad to punk, in celebration of their favorite Time Lord and his adventures.

IL TROUBADORE, known on the planet Qo'noS as bomwI'pu' has been performing tlhIngan QoQ (Klingon music) live since 2009. il Troubadore's mission is to record and perform all existing songs in the complete musical oeuvre of the Klingon Empire. il Troubadore have managed to also learn a number of songs from many alien races throughout the multiverse including tunes in the tongues of the Ewoks and the languages Huttese, Fremen, Vulcan, Tenctonese and Shyriiwook. Also, the group have managd to pick quickly learn tunes in dozens of langauges on the planet Earth.

This weekend (December 1) is the opening (SOLD OUT) night of the Klingon Christmas Carol by Commedia Beauregard at the Raven Theatre in Chicago.  There are some tickets left for the twitter preview on November 30. 

Our resident composer, j'onn, has written the score for the production which we recorded and we will be making appearances on December 1, as well as on December 21 ("Feast of the Long Night") and 30 (closing night).  Also appearing will be our favorite Klingon Bellydancer, Deserae, who you can see dancing with us in this clip:
